Lavender Flower Tea
Herbal tea on the stem. These beautiful teas are individual stems of indigenous plant species from mount Ida and mount Taurus in Turkey. They are sustainably hand picked by the last remaining nomadic community in Turkey - supporting traditional trades and protecting the region's biodiversity. Lavender tea is said to help combat tiredness, poor circulation, high blood pressure, headaches as well as insomnia. It contains a significant amount of Cineole, an antibacterial substance, which is apparently great for allergies, infections and is also a painkiller. And it's supposed to help you stop smoking. Bravo. It's got a strong Lavender flavour as well as that distinctive lavender aroma, and turns the water a surprising bright blue!
